Jan Babintsak (b) 1766. Name now Babinchak. Came to US turn of century.
Palko
Michal Palko (b) 1860. He never entered the United States.
Malenovsky
Antone Malenovsky (b) 1909 in Yukoslovia. Country is now Croatia.
Dauterman
John Daughterman (b) 1827 in Daden, Germany. Name now Dauterman
Dunderdale
Dunderdale is my Grandmother's mother's maiden name on my fathers side.
Day
Agnes Day was my grandmother on my fathers side.

My husband's cousin, Agnes Hurt, (mother was a Drobnak) and I hired a Slovak researcher, Mike Sura, who gave the family a treasure of history and photos and photos of documents in 2005. We have had reunions in 1940, 1960, 2003, and 2006. The Drobnaks consider the Babinchaks and cousins. In fact when a Babinchak is present at a Drobnak party he/ she is called 'cousin. I will be emailing you the Drobnak family history as soon as I make corrections and additions.

I may know something about your Mary Bezvoda. It is only hearsay from my father who is deceased. But he used to talk about his Aunt Marie Bezvoda who had a restaurant near Bohemian National Cemetery. Could this be his father's sister? My paternal grandfather, John Krizek, Sr., was born around 1890. I don't know very much about his family but I am now wondering if the Therezi Krizek that you mention could be his mother (my great-grandmother). I believe my grandfather's parents were born in Czechoslovakia and he was born in Chicago.
I may have a relative still alive who knows something about Marie Bezvoda. |
